Very good animation, you obviously have a lot of skills. You will be producing some awesome stuff in the future. But I agree with others, in that the message is just a bit plain and not accurate in the slightest. But thats ok. Although perhaps you should listen to what people say about the message in you're animation. Perhaps this IS just an animation website, but if u wanna move on to bigger and better things, you can't really go around with the arrogant attitude "I'll question whatever, and whomever!!" because it just makes you look like a dick and piss everyone off.. therefore no one will watch your stuff. Have a fair argument.

Anyway, hope you do well, because the animation is good.

Hey Rick Marin, that was a great piece. The background work was really good. Especially the beginning, although I felt that it was kind of rushed towards the end.. which is fair enough, as it's a long piece. Sometimes the perspective of the backgrounds when zooming and stuff, was a little funky and odd. But none-the-less I really liked it, like all your other ones. Perhaps work on better sounds.. or at least a higher sound quality. Good work.

Good effort on every part. Just one thing that bugged me, was the lame comment "Are you ready to laugh?" just before the bit where the pig gets a face full of his burger...

It came over like a 11 year old, thinking he's comical genius...

...It wasn't particularly funny

But none the less, a great effort on everything else :)

Well Samura_sheikah, it was pretty good for a quick animation, but here's a little question I'm begging to have answered..

WHY post your stuff on newground... It will only bring down your morale... Avoid NG and find a good animation forum. That helped me a lot, and helps you understand what people like.

If you shelter yourself more, you will gain a more unique style. Something people will remember your animations for.

I have a few suggestions, that i think would be a good decision if u followed.

Get A.S.K (animators survival kit) by Richard Williams... A stunning book. I never could imagined how much a book can help... But trust me it does!

Avoid Newgrounds... Find a good animation forum such as Brackenwood.. People will help you understand concept, and bring you closer to being a proper animator!

Im very glad you started by animating FBF. A lot of people waste the most important time (the beginning months) trying to tween "clock" movies and "lock" movies... Which... To be fair are CRAP!

I highly recommend you get A.S.K and find a forum... Go to Adam Phillip's forum (Brackenwood). I'm there, and it's fan-bloody-tastic!

Hey, this was a really good flash movie, its just the characters were damn locks! Everything about that was done well. but the locks spoilt it. All the emotion and tension built up in the moves was lost because the character was simply... a blob with a lock on it.

I really want to see some more of your work, but only if its not locks :).

Also the ending was a bit rushed... but still good.. i gave it 4, and an overal 7

Ok, for a start, you missed a very simple line of code which means that your whole tutorial is ruined.
On the button, add a line of code underneath all the other stuff type (or drag from the side)

or whatever it is that that is similar too...

Another hint, is to watch your flash before sending it to NG! Im sorry, but if you want credit, you have to work for it. Try not to be so eager to "present it to the public"... When the main reason your doing it is to post it to NG, then your doing the wrong thing.

Also, you missed a line of code on your custom cursor tutorial to remove the default cursor.

And your frame by frame "tutorial" was short, and brief. If your going to do a tutorial on anything, you cant just rush it...
